Another fun night at the bar… Honestly, people complain about being waitresses and bartenders all of the time – but if you have never done it – give it a shot… even just for a week. It is one of the worst/best jobs you will ever have. Some times it really makes you want to pull your hair out – but some times you just have a great night and everyone around you is in a good mood and so fun… and luckily that is how tonight was!
I had a blast at work, and a pretty great day overall. Nothing really to post about, except that tonight the bartender played a song that made me soooo happy. If you have ever seen the movie Mermaids with Cher (and Winona Ryder and teensy tiny Christina Ricci) you might know the song…
I love this clip from the movie, because I have such awesomely fun memories of my family dancing in the kitchen while making dinner… we are a party crew I guess. Cher and Winona Ryder in this scene make me think of me and my mom – we always get so goofy together.
Anyways, if you haven’t seen the movie, its wicked cute. And the song is awesome – everyone in the bar was totally rocking out to it… and I think its like 30 years old!
Tomorrow I am going to yoga FINALLY – had to skip todays hip hop class due to a bad case of insomnia last night… I swear, I am the worst sleeper in the world. And speaking of sleep… I’m gonna go try and get some!
